its Keek and Kik

SO I was surfing through the internet sometime, and I stumbled upon an App named keek. Originally it looked to me like it was just some app that took ideas from kik and made something similar. But, it's not. At least, not exactly

Let’s take kik and keek Head-to Head. Shall we?!

About:
kik messenger is a mobile messaging application. Founded 2009, but started making a name for itself in 2010

Keek, on the other hand, is video sharing application (or as folks like to call it; the video instagram)  for mobile devices

Features: kik Started as an iphone alternative to Blackberry messenger. it got great attention with similar minor blackberry features like notifications about received or read IMs, now it's grown even bigger. Kik fans are already exchanging videos, sketches, smileys and more, with apps that have been built using Kik API. And kik has just introduced Kik Cards, features built in HTML5 that let users search for and send YouTube videos, find and share images, edit pics and GIFs, and create sketches - without leaving Kik and without downloading anything new!. Awesome isn't it?
this cool new features have turned kik from just a messaging app to some sort of mini social network..

keek can also be regarded as a social network, similar to twitter, as it allows you follow people, share keeks (36-second video updates) and stay up to date with
with friends in real time. It also features keekbacks which allows you respond to keeks you're mentioned in, private keeks to friends, subcription to favourites, klusters(trends) and alot more.

Popularity: with over 40 million users, kik has become one of the best messaging applications for phones, falling just a little behind whatapp. Keek also has a number of users, 10 million approx

Availability: kik is available on all major mobile platform stores ( appStore-ios, PlayStore- Android, Windows phone store- Windows phone, Ovi Store- symbian (belle and anna) and Blackberry World- Blackberry).

Keek is only available on ios, android and blackberry platforms
