Can a
legend ever be replaced? With record breaking goals, and impeccable achievements
for Chelsea, can the legacy he leaves behind be long lasting? These are the
questions that run through our minds as the replacement for Lampard is sought
out…….
Yes Fellaini
is good, seems young enough to contend with Lampard’s record in Chelsea, but
can he? Would he be able to beat his prospective predecessor’s record? Or will
it end up with those unbroken records?… as the sensation of a transfer from
Everton to Chelsea roams through our minds

Lampard is
not Fellaini & vis versa. Lampard still has a lot to offer but Chelsea
seems to be in a hurry to off load him. Good luck to them.
Fellaini has being showing some form lately, & being the match maker for Everton, but he is rough (sometimes dishonest) player. If he goes to Chelsea, whether he will excel or not, we'll have to wait. I have my doubts about his success in Chelsea colours.

@dageeThe personal honours can go on and on
where frankie is concerned but the only one that matters is that he is on Chelsea’s
all time second highest goal scorer. Higher than legends like Zola, Tore Andre
Flo, Drogba, Shevchenko, Hasselbaink, Crespo e.t.c
To even begin to think of replacing Lampard,
then let's look at his position in the team.
He is a midfielder(all the names listed above are strikers), many refer to him as a Box to Box midfielder, but in that regard you would be comparing him to the likes of Essien and Yaya Toure. These are good players but without the eye for goal that Lampard has.
Some refer to him as an attacking midfielder, but he is no Scholesy, or Iniesta....he can throw a killer pass and beat a man on the turn, but his strength doesn't really lie in trickery like the afore-mentioned.

His strength lies in the timing of his run into
the box, Frank packs a killer shot, and an uncanny ability to lay silent like a
cobra coiled to strike, and strike he does perfectly (195 times perfect)
Who can replace him?
Fellaini is a bully with loads of hair and
immense aerial ability. Fellaini was never really much of a goal scorer until
this season when Everton manager Moyes decided to play him behind the striker
and increase his influence on the attack side of things. The goals are coming
in but if you ask the player, He would be the first to admit that his best
position is at the base of a midfield diamond(defensive Mid). He would definitely
add a new dimension to Chelsea's game and provide one more reason to give up on
Mikel (another day's talk), whilst providing competition for Luiz (he is a
defensive midfielder now right) but HE IS NO FRANK LAMPARD. There can only be
one Frank Lampard, and He is leaving!!!
@Iam_Hhs :
Wait, hold up!!! Are you comparing Frank Lampard to Marouanne Fellaini? You
don't do that now...he MIGHT be a good replacement but..pls don't compare
because the difference is clear...
"Lamps is Lamps, When he plays well, he's the best in the game. When he plays bad, he's the Second or Third best" - José Mourinho (Former chelsea Manager, presently at Real Madrid).
Fellaini on the other hand is a really good player but he is not SUPER FRANK, he's been really impressive this season, banging in some goals for the Merseyside Blues...Fellaini can Play anywhere in the Midfield compared to Lampard who's more of a Central Midfielder (CMF)..
Fellaini would add a lotta spice and style to chelsea (thanks to his Afro hairstyle)..y'noe...
Let's keep our fingers crossed & see if the transfer would ever take place..y'noe.

@DeGrand_Father
says: Lampard! Lampard! Lampard! one of Chelsea’s own…. can’t stop singing his
name or his praises, assistant captain and of recent captain, number one on the
pecking order of taking penalties. second highest goal scorer of all time in
the history of Chelsea, really praying
and hoping he can break the record of Bobby Tambling . Also hoping he does not
leave but as things are going it seems inevitable. Fans all over are clamoring for a new
contract, and if not his no 8 shirt be immortalized and be stripped from
available numbers. So the question on everyone’s mind is that who can fill
those friggin big shoes of his? Who can
become that next very one legend or that midfielder who organizes the Chelsea
midfield well?
Rumor has it that the supposedly next
legendary midfield will be Marouanne Fellaini of Everton, don’t know much of
football…. started watching a couple of years back like 5 to 6 years ago and
only concentrated on the Chelsea games ,so
i didn’t know much about fellaini until about two seasons ago . He has been
beautiful this season really carrying Everton along scoring and “bossing” the
midfield of any game watched a few of Fellaini's games, he is young has that
good first touch, wonderful passing skill & technique but I don’t know if
he has that free kick ability of Lampard’s.
Will still give it to him, he is
young and still knows how to move the ball around, he has really been in great
form for Everton , a true midfielder I will say, mostly consistent has his off days although everybody has their
own {may be except messi} .Assuming he does really sign for Chelsea I would be
happy for him and Chelsea because he is a good footballer and will surely add
something to that Chelsea’s midfield and he will get trophies for himself to so
it’s a win-win situation .
But still no neymar can replace a Pele so no
fellaini can replace a Lampard
